The District’s surveillance program collects adult mosquito samples and sends them to a lab for West Nile virus testing.  If a sample tests positive, the date and location the sample was collected are recorded on a mapping system maintained by the Center for Vectorborne Disease at UC Davis.  The most recent map may be viewed by clicking on the link below:
