The Mission of the Kings Mosquito Abatement District is to suppress mosquito populations to the lowest levels possible,  thus minimizing their disease-spreading potential and improving the quality of life. To accomplish this, the District has implemented an integrated mosquito management program that relies on:

• A mosquito and disease surveillance program that continuously monitors mosquito abundance and disease activity to ensure efficient and effective allocation of resources.
• Utilizing the most effective mosquito control products available.
• Cooperation with local agencies.
